Chief physician, orthopedic dentist

I am a happy man! Because I have been practicing dentistry for 30 years, and I am still in love with my profession! A couple of years ago, my youngest son asked me the question, "How do you not get bored all your life treating teeth?" I couldn't answer that question right away and wondered, really, why?
About doctor
My parents were not associated with medicine, and I myself thought about it only after my older friends went to medical school. After them, I went to take the entrance exams, and... I failed. I had already imagined myself as a surgeon, but it was not so easy. I did not become a student at once: working at the department of the medical institute, I had to pass entrance exams every year, and every year I failed at least 1 point. And so I did for three years. Each unsuccessful attempt only strengthened my desire to become a doctor. And the years of preparation created the dream of dentistry. I had a lot of persistence and perseverance, that is why I, after all, passed all examinations and entered the Faculty of Dentistry.
My first year at the institute we studied together with my husband, Vitalik Pchelnik. Our first son, Vitalik, was born at the institute. Dormitory, friends, "perestroika", queues and shortages, lectures of legendary professors, endless exams, trade union committee, kindergarten from 1 year and 3 months, graduation... We were young, fearless, and ambitious. It was a fun, wonderful time! 1992 - I went to work in the first private clinic in Kharkov - Medical Center "Evviva". There were good teachers, our team began to form there. Then we did a lot of things for the first time - our country was developing, dentistry was developing and I grew up along with it. That was a good time. The borders were opened, imported materials were available, literature appeared, the first training courses, seminars and new technologies. Every day we were discovering something new; avidly and with great excitement we read, traveled, implemented, worked, listened and learned, and worked again. Then, in the 90s, there was an understanding of what quality dentistry should be. Then there were like-minded people, students, experience, my second son Nikita. So quietly 10 years flew by... A new dream arose - a dream of perfect dentistry!
My husband and I decided to offer Kharkov citizens a dentistry of European level, with the best equipment, with the latest technology, with the best doctors and with an honest attitude to business. We dreamed of a dentistry where professionalism is complemented by compassion and concern for patients. That's how Elite Denta started. We wanted to provide our patients with the highest level of dental care in maximum comfort. By this point, we already had a wealth of experience, but we knew nothing about service. We just loved our patients and tried to do our best for them. We learned, worked, learned again, invested and worked, and learned again. And so another 10 years went by, and once again, unnoticed. Looking back, I see that even yesterday my students were young doctors, mastering all the subtleties of our profession, and today they are teaching young people themselves. Just yesterday my ringing receptionist girls, in between talking to patients, were reading books on marketing in dentistry and coming up with a handy appointment management scheme, and today they are ready to give a brilliant master class to train receptionists. Just yesterday my oldest son was mastering the work of a sterilization room, and today he's a leading implant surgeon who has made a loud and authoritative name for himself in professional circles.
No, I am not bored with my whole life of dental treatment because I am surrounded by my friends, my colleagues, and my family. I can say with confidence that the most valuable thing is the people we work with. It is more than a collective, it is a real big family where we enjoy, experience, work, strive, develop and simply live, live our common cause. We correspond in the group, discuss news, make movies, go kayaking, dive into the ice-hole and have children! And we rejoice and curse (mostly me, of course) together, too. We love our patients, we are happy when they are happy! And now, I've switched to "we. Because I am WE! Thanks to you, I've been working for 30 years and I'm not bored!
A dream called "Elite Denta" has become a reality. What's next? Walking in the woods with my dogs, I ask myself, do I still have dreams? Of course I do! And I know the time-tested recipe - study, work, work and study again. And then any dream will come true, you just need to be honest with yourself and love your business. The business I dedicate my whole life to....
