Galina Lobintseva is the co-founder and director of Ukraine's first Cryobank of the Institute of Cell Therapy, Candidate of Biological Sciences, winner of the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology.

Lobintseva introduced technologies for cryopreservation of human fetal liver cells, methods for assessing their viability and ex vivo cultivation into the Cryobank and Scientific Center for ICT (Scientific Center).

He is the author of more than 150 scientific articles on cryopreservation of human fetal liver, ovarian tissue, testicles, amniotic membrane, placenta and various populations of stem cells.

The first clinical trials in the USSR with the use of cell therapy were conducted in Ukraine exactly under the leadership of Galina Stepanovna Lobyntseva.
