The experience of Ivanna Stepanovna Lisovych as a dentist-parodontist at the clinic "Parodent" exceeds five years. In turn, the countdown of her general work experience starts in 1997, from the moment of graduation from the Medical University of Lviv.

Mykhailo Shulyuk is one of the "old-timers" of the well-known Lviv dental clinic "Parodent". He graduated from the university in 1988, since then he has been perfecting his skills in different dental clinics and medical centers of the city.

I was born into a family of dentists. Maybe that's why I knew exactly what profession to choose. I remember my parents coming home from work, discussing their day, complex and interesting cases, consulting with each other, what would be the right decision. My dad told me that I was actively involved in the work of the dentist from the womb, because my mother worked while she was pregnant. Some of my favorite questions to my mom, down the road from school, were about dentistry. "What is pulpitis? How is " pulpitis" different from "periodontitis"? And how should it be treated?" And my mother, always told me: symptoms, treatment tactics, gave vivid and clear examples. I listened to her with great interest and enthusiasm.

Yulia Borysivna Nagornyak is the head of the therapeutic department of the "Parodent" clinic in Lviv.

I have never had the question of choosing a profession. When my parents and everyone around me is a dentist, the choice becomes obvious. So when I was asked where I would apply, I answered boldly - to medical school as a dentist. At that time it seemed to me that the guaranteed employment is the main advantage of a medical dynasty. Now, after working at Elite Denta dentistry for 8 years, taking part in interviews and reading resumes, I understand that the main thing in our profession is honesty and enthusiasm. My parents guided me and gave me the opportunity to learn from the meters of modern dentistry, which, in turn, ignited my interest or even passion for the profession. By attending various courses, from the very first days of training, I understood what I had to strive for. And in our dentistry I saw the implementation of the world's dental work in practice. Working in my second year with the dental laboratory, I was fascinated by the rather boring steps of making dentures. A little later, I enthusiastically discussed with my instructor the nuances of fabricating metal-free restorations, which were rare at the time. Thanks to the fact that my mentors were the people closest to me, I early began to put the knowledge I had gained into practice.

Alexey Rogov is an orthodontist at the Center of Digital Orthodontics "MistoDent". He is a volunteer dentist of the TriZub Dental all-Ukrainian project.
