Feedback from our clients

We're pregnant
My name is Nicole and I am from Portland, Oregon. My husband and I have been unable to conceive for 7 years. I was diagnosed with infertility and prescribed expensive treatments. My friend is from Ukraine and when I told her about the problems with health insurance coverage, she advised me to go to Kiev and get treatment there. My husband and I thought it was crazy. But after a couple of weeks we made up our minds. I contacted Dmitriy and he suggested several options for clinics after learning about my diagnosis. We chose Grischenko clinic. Our doctor Elena was very nice and tactful. Those were difficult days. Tests, examinations. My husband and I were tired, but it was not for nothing. We could not go through the whole course of treatment, we had to go home. The doctors met us and adjusted some of the procedures to our abilities. We flew home exhausted, but literally six months later we were able to get pregnant. Thank you.

Prices are lower than in the Czech Republic, at the same quality
In 2015, my sister was on vacation in Ukraine and decided to get her teeth fixed as well. She was so thrilled that she brought her doctor's card with her and advised everyone to go to Kharkov and to him. And this year, when the borders were barely opened, I went. I quickly found dentist Evgeny Grizodub and made an appointment. I was met at the airport, the next day I already received a treatment plan and in a week I was home. The only unpleasant thing was the hotel, photos and reality were very different. But about the doctor, I agree with my sister. I recommend MistoDent Dentistry and doctor Evgeny Grizodub.

Certified implants and cheap installation
Last year my wife had serious dental problems and our neighbor, understanding our difficult financial situation, advised us to try treatment in countries where medicine is much cheaper. He did the same thing himself a few years ago. I did not take his advice seriously, and what was my surprise when his wife a couple of weeks later, said she was going to put dental implants in Ukraine. I had a lot of questions. Was she sure the trip was worth the money she had saved. I agree, the savings are significant. But I questioned the quality and whether those prices were real. She ended up getting four Swiss implants, Nobel Biocare brand, which our family dentist recommended to her. We were offered cheaper options, but we did not take the risk. We paid three and a half thousand dollars and had a checkup when we got home. Our dentist confirmed that everything was done perfectly, and I still don't understand why we didn't do it sooner!?

Thx to You
I want to thank the staff at uamedtours for their excellent service. I was asked to write a review, so I am writing it. At first I was afraid to go from Antwerpen to a country where there is a war and they say that it is in complete disrepair. I was assured that this does not correspond to the truth. I decided to take the risk, the purpose of the trip - medical care, and no barriers at the border at the airport. I flew to Boryspil, was met by Dmitry and took me to Kiev to the pre-agreed hotel. He took care of all organizational matters. I arrived in the morning and had time in the afternoon for an appointment at the clinic. My companion waited for me there and after the appointment he drove me to my hotel. He left me a telephone with a possibility to call him in Ukraine and if it was necessary. After the treatment at the clinic all that was left was to fly home.

It could have been better
I flew to Kiev for vision treatment at the Novy Zir Clinic. We discussed everything in advance with the girl Olga. I was met at the airport and escorted to the hotel, I don't even remember the name, but not a bad budget option. The hospital was literally just a few steps away. Therefore there was no problem. The problem was the language. The doctor spoke mediocre English, and if it were not for the receptionist I am not sure that we understood each other. I had to call Olga and solve this issue, because I was promised that the doctor speaks perfect English. At my next appointment I was met by Mr. Parkhomenko who continued my treatment. Three days later I was operated on for my glaucoma. Although I hoped to do without it, but the doctor convinced me. I recovered at home, but I really feel better. Had it not been for the incident with my first doctor, I would have said everything was fine, but now I have to check and recheck the work of the staff. Keep that in mind!

I'm glad I was there.
After a short conversation I decided to risk going to Ukraine. There is good dental medicine there for simple cases. I flew from Berlin via Kiev. In Kharkov I was met by Anna. A very nice girl. While driving to the hotel she told me a lot about the city and Ukraine. I settled in the hotel immediately and immediately got lunch. The next day I was examined at Misto Dent. Doctor Evgeny charted the scheme of treatment and I realized that I will stay for a week, because need to treat 5 teeth. During that week I had time to go on excursions and just walk around the city. After 6 months everything is great with my teeth, I am satisfied with the service of the company, clinic and the hospitality of the country. I hope this review will be helpful.

Travel and my sore tooth
My wife loves to travel, we have been to more than 30 countries and this vacation she wanted to visit Ukraine. Everything was fine until I got a toothache. I took a painkiller, but it didn't help. We were alone in a foreign country and didn't know what to do. This was the first time it happened to us. And then we found Olga's number on the Internet and explained our situation. And it was magic. In an hour I was already sitting in the dentist's chair, and in two hours my wife and I were walking through the city again. And I didn't look like a baked pumpkin. We were surprised. It was Kharkov, not the capital of the country and we did not count on quality medical care, Ukraine, after all, is not the country from which you expect such a thing. We were referred to Misto Dent. We made an appointment, we just called a cab, gave the address Olga gave us and we came. It turned out that they were already waiting for us. The doctor informed us that I had a chipped tooth that had never bothered me. Of course, I was frightened and agreed to the treatment, so as not to let it go any further. In the end, everything was done quickly and well. I didn't even go to retest the tooth when I got home. It was a funny story. Olga, thank you.

The indications for joint cell therapy are arthritis, arthrosis and injuries.

Stem cells are not prescribed to patients with acute phase of chronic and infectious diseases. Also, stem cell therapy is contraindicated for pregnant women and during lactation.

Due to the wear and tear of a joint or a joint affected by a disease, endoprosthetics are often necessary. Stem cell therapy can act as an alternative to such surgery. However, it should be understood that cell therapy is not a panacea and will not always help. For example, for arthritis, stem cell therapy is indicated in stages 1 to 3. The 4th stage of arthritis is an absolute indication for arthroplasty, and cell therapy at this stage will only serve as a postponement of joint replacement

Yes, as a rule before the injection of stem cells the patient is prescribed an anti-inflammatory therapy. Preliminary physical therapy procedures may also be helpful.

Stem cells can be harvested using several methods:

  • Lipofilling. This method of cell harvesting involves therapy with autologous material. In other words, the patient's own stem cells are used. For this purpose, a puncture of adipose tissue is made. Usually, fat is taken from the abdomen or thighs with a syringe. A small amount of fat is enough for the procedure, from which the stem cells are later separated using a centrifuge.
  • Peripheral blood sampling. To obtain stem cells from peripheral blood, apheresis is used. The patient is connected to a machine through which his blood passes. The machine filters the stem cells from the blood and collects them in a separate reservoir.
  • Extraction of cells from the umbilical cord blood. If you or your close relatives (provided that they are compatible with your phenotype) have umbilical cord blood collected at birth stored in a cryobank, you can use it as a source of stem cells.
  • Obtaining cells from bone marrow. To do this, under anesthesia, the doctor takes a syringe from the patient's (or donor's) femur or sternum.
  • Obtaining cells from an aborted fetus. Using fetal cells from a fetus extracted at 4-6 weeks of gestation.

In the laboratory, cells are isolated from the collected material and multiplied in a special environment. This process is called cultivation.

Most often, injections are made into the joint cavity. Some methods involve injecting stem cells intrathecally - into the subcutaneous space of the spinal cord. Usually, 1-3 injections are needed to achieve the results of the therapy.

Treatment of joints with stem cells involves swelling in the joint area during the first few days. During this time, it is necessary to limit physical activity and walking. After the swelling passes, you can return to your normal rhythm of life.

One can speak with confidence about the effectiveness of stem cells in the treatment of fractures and other injuries. In this area, the therapy has proven to be the best. Treatment of arthrosis and arthritis cannot be evaluated unequivocally, since both arthrosis and arthritis are collective names for entire groups of diseases. These diseases have different origins and degrees of development. In addition, the overall condition of the patient - his or her physical health and age - also plays a major role. Therefore, where for one patient stem cell therapy of joint disease is a salvation, for another it will only postpone surgical intervention.
